A song to help get over the mundane blues and overcast grey skies. Every winter, the repetitive colourless skies impact my mood deeply. I truly succumb to the seasonal depression. I feel behind my eyes if that makes any sense, as if I am going through the motions. Conversation is empty, I just want to lay in a bed. Writing this song, especially in the winter of 2020 when it was written, helped me channel those bleak and mundane feelings onto pen and paper and I purposefully tried to create an upbeat yet slightly haunting musical accompaniment. I hope you like it and I hope that if you ever feel bummed out, this can remind you that other people feel it too and you're not alone.
